~A beautiful afternoon in Hidden Valley Lake~

 Today was such a beautiful day, the weather was perfect this afternoon.  Fall color in our small community had me grabbing my camera to capture it before it was too late.  Our Little Beach and  boat dock were covered in falling leaves with amazing hues of yellow and orange.  I felt very lucky today to live in such a special place....  Tomorrow I plan on stepping out to photograph the Japanese Maple Leaf trees that I know are scattered throughout our neighborhoods......

Jake came to see me for a studio shoot and stole my heart.  He was the happiest baby, content to sit or lay where ever I placed him.  He had so many expressions and loved to hear his mommy sing "If your happy and you know it", he would giggle when she got to the clap you hands!  Thank you for bringing him over to meet me Kelli, he is a cutie pie!!!

My session today was a recommendation from Susan Conley owner of the Bunk House in Middletown.

Emily and her family own a cabin in Cobb and come every Thanksgiving from Folsom for their

family getaway. Emily's mother, a friend of Susan, asked her if she knew of a photographer

that could take her daughter's senior portraits while vacationing for the holiday.

My name was given to her and today was the day to photograph a beautiful senior

in a beautiful setting!  Thank you Susan :)
